PTOLEMAIC KINGS OF EGYPT. Ptolemy V Epiphanes, 205-180 BC. Hemiobol (?) (Bronze, 18 mm, 2.59 g, 11 h), Alexandria, circa 205-200. Draped male bust to right, wearing Attic helmet. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΠTOΛEMAIOY Eagle with closed wings standing left on thunderbolt, filleted cornucopiae over his shoulder. Faucher & Lorber Series 6B. Noeske 174. SNG Copenhagen 235-6. Svoronos 1155. Very rare. Struck from a slightly worn obverse die and with minor deposits on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
